End of August 2020. After a very hot week in Normandy, suddenly the sky changed. The bright light still on the wheatfield amazed me, as did the sky. And I was inspired by the barn greeting the threatening clouds that were heavy with rain. As I was leaving the area, I had to paint this very quickly and I finished it at home.
